Pixies Three - Birthday Party (1963)

Today our quaint little town of Hanover Pa. Celebrated their 250 yr anniversay of  the  founding of the town.  A parade was the start of the festivites.  Then the square was the place to be for the intertainment. Jer and I went just to see one of our favorite girl groups of the 60's  The Pixies Three!  We had no idea that all three of them were born and raised right here in the town we call home..Hanover Pa.    It was a fun way to spend the day.  Here they are now.. ...the years have been good to them! They still sound the same too!

Gotta get me a Hot dog one day!

       Hotdogs/Weiners are big in our neck of the woods.  Truth be known...Jer and I have lived here for 14 yrs and have never been in this place.  Hot dogs are not our favorite kind of food.  It gets rave reviews every year...so I guess we should try it!

Multi Colors

                It's amazing what you can do with a Hydrangea when you give it the proper conditions! I planted
                my first  one last year...it is just starting to bloom...hope mine is multi colored like my DIL's above.
               

Barn Charm ~ # 108

  I have been wanting to get a shot of this barn for a few years now.  Every time we go visit our son in Md.
  we pass this barn.  Its on a very busy highway  and we always whiz ed right by it.  This time I was prepared
 I asked Jer to stay in the right hand lane so we could pull off onto the shoulder for me to get this shot!  YA

 This fence has seen better days....just happened to walk by and  looked in between an old rail trestle and garage and spotted it.  I am thinking the fence was here before the garage.
