Wild Beauty

          Queens Ann's Lace is one of the prettiest wild flowers. Here is a little tip for you....put a little food coloring in water with this little beauty n watch it turn the same color. My kids loved doing this when they were little!  Try it!!

 TEXWIS GIRL and inspiration for this fun meme.  This ones for you Theresa.  A very rare sight in my neck of the woods. I was so surprised to see it and was glad I had my camera with me.

Barn Charm ~ # 85

  The color combo is what drew me to this structure...it's more like a storage shed it matches the barn below.

This was the first time the property owner approached me an asked what I was doing...I told him I love   taking pictures of unique barns. He was very nice and  told me to be careful backing out of the driveway onto the main road. It was a very strange feeling. I was  trespassing.  Won't be doing that again.

After the Rain

     I am loving my new AF-s Nikkor 50mm 1.18G lens...gives great Bokeh n wonderful for portraits.

                    My sweet Grans..are always happy to smile for the camera..this was just a test shot..I need lots of practice. I think I am going to have lots of fun with my new toy!

Quotography ~ June favorite

I picked this June shot because it reminds me of my Dad who passed away when I was 8yrs old.  Every time I see or eat a steamed blue crab, It provokes memories of my Dad because he loved them sooooo much.
